Dream League

Dream League 2017 season

The Dream League is a special needs/noncompetitive league for players born from 2001 - 2012 (1999 - 2000 must contact the league to determine eligibility).

In the Dream League, every player bats every inning, batters swing until they get a hit (with or without assistance), players are safe on the bases, there are no outs and every player scores a run each inning.  Safety balls are used and the ball is pitched by an adult coach or hit off a tee.  Players are assisted by “buddies” who provide encouragement and assistance as needed.  Every team and each player win every game.

Last year, the Dream League grew to over 50 players and 4 teams and we’d love to have you join us.  The Dream League plays on Saturday mornings at Creek Road Park in Elma starting in May through approximately the end of June, depending on weather.  All players get team uniforms and an award at the end of the season.  Our players have fun, make lasting memories and make great friends.

Volunteers Needed

Adult and student volunteers (ages 11 and up) are needed to assist coaches and serve as player “buddies.”  If you would like to volunteer for one or more games, please e-mail NicoleKapturowski@emwbaseball.org and we’ll contact you once the game schedule has been determined.  Community service credits can be earned through assisting the Dream League.

We'd Love To Hear Your Suggestions

The Dream League will be in its forth season this year.  We are still relatively new and are learning as we go.  We’d love to hear your suggestions, comments and questions regarding improving the Dream League.  Send them to Nicole Kapturowski at NicoleKapturowski@emwbaseball.org
